• Wynberg High School is an English Medium institution. 

• All subjects (with the exception of Afrikaans First Additional Language) are taught and assessed in English. 

• We are committed to developing high levels of academic literacy to ensure our learners are prepared for university and the professional world. 

• The GET (General Education and Training) phase covers Grades 8 and 9, focusing on a broad range of subjects. 

• The FET (Further Education and Training) phase covers Grades 10 to 12, where learners choose specific subjects to prepare for the National Senior Certificate (Matric).

• We offer a variety of specialized subjects in the Sciences, Humanities, Technologies and the Arts.

• School begins promptly at 08:00 every morning 

• School concludes at 15:00 form Monday to Thurday, and at 12:30 on a Friday. 

• Extracurricular activities usually take place in the afternoons between 15:00 and 16:00, execept on matchday where it could end later. 

• Our official school uniform and branded apparel are stocked exclusively at School and Leisure.
